Vibesing, jazzy bruk.
Culross… aka K15 from Wild Oats and Floating Points.
With the Loose Lips MC in full flow, and complete with a Spinna house version. On percussion, Miguel Fuentes brings classic Philly vibes courtesy of the MFSB family.
Deadly 1990 outings by the This Heat drummer — grooving, stripped, moody assassinators — with Versions by Maxmillion Dunbar and JD Twitch, evoking Photek, Premier, Giallo, Belgian acid…
West London broken beat meets JA dancehall. A Co-op classic by this Bugz mainstay.
A fourth quartet of masked mongrels. First up, a slo-mo heart-melter, spiked with scraps of misty-eyed soul; then Soul Seeker keeps things rolling with swinging 2-step drums and bittersweet vocal snippets. On the flip, the outer limits of the LA beats sound get nasty with foundation dubstep — a mid-tempo slugger from another planet, on a mission to scrunch rude boy’s bass-cones into the dust — before U & I draws the EP to a close, in an anthemic haze of vapour-wave synths and skeletal percussion.
Very promisingly kicks off (like the new Kanye) with a deadly shot by our own Budgie.
Plus four exclusive, brand new tracks by the host himself… and the Bruk continuum in full effect, via contributions from Dego, Seiji, Kaidi and co.
